Angels of the Deep Above

This image was produced as my entry into the Painter Gradient Exhibition. The challenge was to produce an image using only MetaCreations' Painter program and its preset gradients palette as the main tool/effect . It was a fun challenge, and an interesting exercise to see what a wide range of approaches this challenge produced.

I used a purple spiral gradient as my clone colour source to develop the 'Angel' shapes, and a blue-to-black gradient for the sea and sky. If you are interested in more detail about this process, please visit our "Angels" Tutorial
