Kalgoorlie Mining Museum Mural
Client: Glick International.
Artists Rodney Glick and Lynette Voevodin were commissioned by the Australian Museum of Mining and Prospecting at Kalgoorlie, WA, to produce a large-scale mural to hang in the main lobby, to mark the Museum's opening.
They designed a 5.5m x 3.2m digital painting onto vinyl, composed from paintings, photographs and digital video footage, to create a collage of contemporary and historic scenes and people of the region.
Glick International chose Mastery for the final prepress proofing and colour grading. Our master composite was sliced into 10 panels and printed onto vinyl sheets which were then mounted on wooden panels and transported to Kalgoorlie for hanging in the main foyer of the Museum.
